Race Recap - Jettribe Mid-America Water X Clinton Lake, Kansas 2021
Posted by Brandy Fraley on 5th Aug 2021
The Jettribe Mid-America Watercross Series hosted by Nautiwater Racing took on the Kansas waters of Clinton Lake July 17th & 18th, 2021. Racers young and old, beginners and vets, came together to learn, laugh, and compete for the weekend title. Beginner racer Lucas Ebling learned a rookie lesson on Moto 1 as he ran out of gas after a few laps. By Moto 2 he had topped off the tank and had a great race. Veteran racers Harold & Tim also learned this valuable lesson when they ran out of gas at the boat ramp. A few laughs and a gas can later all was good to go. The North Carolina racing team came to Kansas to visit family and join in on the weekend fun. Brothers Bill Haig and Richard Haig got to spend the week together and enjoy a family-friendly weekend with awesome competition. Racer Nikki Turner with the North Carolina crew enjoyed the efficiencies and professionalism of the Jettribe event. She looks forward to racing with Nautiwater and Jettribe in the future. Beginner racer Lilly Wright, age 11, said if you’re thinking about coming out to race, just get out and try it. She had a blast for her first-ever race weekend and is looking forward to more weekends and improving her skills.
